Ridiculous Blogger

The first time that I have my blog hosted on my own server was with Bluehost since Wordpress.org recommends them on their site.  I don’t know much about the web hosting sites that they are recommending.  I just pick the first one that comes to my mind that they are recommending so I ended up with using Bluehost.

To make the story short, I ended using them for quite some time.  On April 2010, I found out that they suspended my account for violation of their terms.  It was the first time that it did happened to me so I am very sad about it.  I ended up asking on different webmaster forums and found out that there are many webmasters who have a bad experience with that very same company I am having a problem.  It was very hard since I am hosting all of my sites on that account.  When they suspended my hosting account, all of my sites are suspended too.

If only I did my research that time before choosing them as my web host, maybe that would not happen to me.  I know that I am not the only one who would appreciate a web hosting reviews site.  It would have been a different story.  That tragedy could have been prevented if only I have consulted some reviews about hosting site.

Now, I am trying to learn form my experience and am trying start all over again since, I couldn’t not retrieve my old files from my old account.

So here’s a good advice for all those who would want to start their own online business, try to find out more about the hosting company by consulting other webmasters or through other reviews from notable webmaster that you know can be trusted.  When looking for hosting company I would advise to take some time looking at more than reviews since they are not saying the same.
